Fresh Orange Juice with Pulp
How to Make Delicious and Healthy Homemade Orange Juice
Oranges, the quintessential fruit for juices, are featured in this recipe for vibrant, pulp-filled orange juice. While many juice recipes share similarities, each offers a unique touch. As a great admirer of fruit juices, I’m sharing a series of recipes. This one focuses on creating a delightful orange juice at home that retains the natural texture of the fruit.
Orange Juice Ingredients- 1 Orange (choose a fresh, sweet one)
- 1 tsp Honey (adjust to taste, a natural sweetener)
- 1/2 Tbsp Erythritol (sugar substitute, optional)
- 100ml Water (for a smoother consistency)
- 3 Ice cubes (to make it refreshingly cold)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, carefully peel the skin off one fresh orange. Once peeled, separate the segments and break them into larger pieces before placing them into your blender. Keeping the segments somewhat intact will ensure you have a pleasant pulp texture in your juice.
Step 2
Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the blender with the orange segments. Honey acts as a natural sweetener and complements the citrusy tang of the orange beautifully. Feel free to adjust the amount of honey based on your sweetness preference.
Step 3
For a healthier option, add 1/2 tablespoon of erythritol, a sugar substitute. If you don’t have erythritol, you can omit it or use another sweetener of your choice. Next, pour in 100ml of water and add 3 ice cubes. Blend everything together for about 1 minute, or until the ingredients are smoothly combined. Be careful not to over-blend, as this can diminish the pulp’s texture.
Step 4
Finally, carefully pour the freshly blended orange juice into a glass. You’ve now created a delicious and healthy orange juice with its pulp intact! It’s best enjoyed immediately for maximum freshness.
