- 10 cherry tomatoes

- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

First, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and then peel it. Place the flesh in a bowl and mash it gently with a fork or potato masher, leaving some small chunks for texture. Mashing it too smoothly can make it less interesting.

Wash the cherry tomatoes, remove their stems, and finely chop them, excluding the seeds, then add them to the mashed avocado. The tomatoes’ freshness will enhance the guacamole’s flavor.

Finely mince the onion. If you prefer a milder onion flavor, soak the minced onion in cold water for about 5 minutes, then drain thoroughly. Add the minced onion to the bowl with the avocado and tomatoes.
