Main Ingredients- 400g potatoes (about 2 medium-sized)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, peel the potatoes and rinse them thoroughly under water to remove excess starch. Then, slice the potatoes into thin strips about 0.3cm thick. If they are too thick, they will take longer to cook.

Pour about 500ml of water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, prepare to blanch the potatoes.

Add all the sliced potatoes to the boiling water and blanch for about 3 minutes. This step helps to soften the potatoes and shorten the cooking time. Be careful not to over-blanch, as they might become mushy.

Drain the blanched potatoes thoroughly using a colander. It’s important to remove as much moisture as possible; residual water can cause oil splattering or make the potatoes soggy. Gently pressing them with paper towels can help remove excess water.
