[Recommended Crab Dish] The Golden Recipe for Delicious Crab and Egg Rolls
I’m sharing a recipe for a fluffy crab and egg roll made with tender Samho Ansim Crab. It’s perfect as a side dish for dinner or a tasty snack for kids. This idea came to me while I was making crab sandwiches! The savory crab meat combined with the soft, fluffy eggs is absolutely delightful!
Ingredients- 5 Eggs
- 1 finger-length piece of Scallion (white part)
- 1 pack Samho Ansim Crab
- 1/4 Tbsp Salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, shred the Samho Ansim Crab with chopsticks and add it. Finely chop the scallion (white part) and add it to the bowl. Crack in 3 of the eggs and add the 1/4 Tbsp of salt. (The crab meat is already slightly seasoned, so you can adjust the salt or omit it according to your preference.)
Step 2
Add the shredded crab and chopped scallion to the beaten eggs and mix them thoroughly with chopsticks or a whisk. It’s important to stir well so that the egg mixture and ingredients are evenly combined.
Step 3
Heat an egg roll pan or a regular non-stick frying pan over low heat. Add a generous amount of olive oil or cooking oil, and then use a paper towel to spread a thin layer of oil evenly across the pan. Pour about 1/3 of the prepared egg mixture into the pan and let it cook slowly over low heat. Once the edges begin to set, slightly increase the heat to medium and, while the egg is still slightly undercooked, start rolling it from one side. The key is to roll gently, creating air pockets, to ensure the inside is cooked through without burning the outside.
Step 4
Prepare the remaining 2 eggs. In a separate bowl, crack the 2 eggs and beat them well to make the egg mixture. At this stage, you can add finely minced onion or carrot for added texture and flavor. (Tip: Gently wipe the pan after finishing the first roll, or add a little more oil, before pouring in the next batch of egg mixture to prevent sticking.)
Step 5
Pour the second batch of egg mixture into the empty space in the pan over low heat. Gently push the first rolled egg to one side of the pan and spread the newly poured egg mixture alongside it, then roll it up again. Repeating this process 2-3 times by pouring more egg mixture and rolling will create a thick and appealing egg roll. (Tip: You don’t need to add extra ingredients to the second egg mixture if you want a simpler roll. Adding finely chopped seaweed or cheese can also create a different flavor profile.)
