  • 2 Tbsp imitation crab meat (surimi)
  • 2 Tbsp carrot
  • 2 Tbsp corn kernels
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tsp Mustard

Wash the kabocha squash thoroughly. You can use baking soda, soju, or rice water for effective cleaning. (Soaking it in water for a bit before washing also helps remove any dirt easily.)

Microwave the washed kabocha squash for 2-3 minutes. This step makes it easier to cut the lid. After cutting off the lid, use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and sticky pulp cleanly, preparing it for filling.

Finely mince the carrot, sausage, and imitation crab meat that will be used for the filling. It’s important to chop them into uniform, bite-sized pieces, especially for children.

Combine the minced sausage, imitation crab meat, corn kernels, and carrot in a bowl. Mix well with mayonnaise and mustard sauce. The mustard adds flavor and cuts through the richness.
