- 6 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp sugar

- 2 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin)
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
Sandwich Ingredients
- 5 boiled eggs
- 1 head of broccoli
- 4-6 morning buns (to taste)
- 5 boiled eggs
- 1 head of broccoli
- 4-6 morning buns (to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s make the delicious sesame dressing. Grind 6 tablespoons of sesame seeds finely using a blender or mortar. In a bowl, combine the ground sesame seeds with 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, and 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Whisk everything together until smooth and well combined, creating a rich and flavorful sesame dressing.
Step 2
Now, let’s prepare the broccoli. Wash 1 head of fresh broccoli thoroughly and cut it into small florets. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes. This helps retain its nutrients and keeps it slightly crisp. After blanching, rinse the broccoli under cold water, drain well, and finely chop it. Chopping it finely but leaving some texture is ideal.
Step 3
Prepare 5 pre-boiled eggs. Peel the boiled eggs and place them in a large bowl. Add the finely chopped broccoli to the same bowl. Pour all the prepared sesame dressing over the eggs and broccoli. You can adjust the amount of dressing to your preference.
Step 4
It’s time to mash and mix! Use a fork or your hands to mash the boiled eggs until they are broken down into a creamy consistency. Mix the mashed eggs, broccoli, and sesame dressing thoroughly until everything is well combined. If the salad seems too dry, feel free to add a little more dressing or mayonnaise. Your delicious broccoli egg salad is now ready!
Step 5
Let’s turn this wonderful salad into a sandwich! Slice 4-6 soft morning buns in half. Generously fill the inside of each bun with the prepared broccoli egg salad. Your tasty morning bun sandwiches are complete! For extra freshness, you can add lettuce or tomato slices. They make a hearty meal or a perfect snack for outings!
