Fresh Spring Roll Ingredients- 1 fresh cucumber
- 1/2 sweet apple
- 2 imitation crab sticks
- 1 bell pepper
- Peanut butter, to taste
- 4 sheets of rice paper
- Sriracha sauce, for serving
- About 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- Tabasco sauce, a dash (optional)
Hearty Tortilla Wrap Ingredients- 2 imitation crab sticks (surimi)
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- A little lemon juice
- Crushed peanuts, for texture
- Black sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 boiled sweet potato
- 1 tortilla
- Tabasco sauce, a dash (optional)
- 2 imitation crab sticks (surimi)
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- A little lemon juice
- Crushed peanuts, for texture
- Black sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 boiled sweet potato
- 1 tortilla
- Tabasco sauce, a dash (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
These might seem like ordinary ingredients, but when they come together, they create a truly delicious dish! Shall we prepare them together?

Peel the cucumber, then cut it into four lengthwise. Finally, slice it into bite-sized pieces.

Remove the seeds from the bell pepper, wash it, and then cut it into long, thin strips, similar to the cucumber.

Wash the apple, remove the core, and slice it thinly into strips. The apple’s sweetness will enhance the flavor of the spring rolls.

Gently shred the imitation crab sticks using two forks or your fingers, following the natural grain. Avoid shredding them too finely to maintain a pleasant texture.

It’s often said that 90% of a great spring roll is in the preparation of the ingredients! Arrange your prepared vegetables and crab sticks attractively.

Fill a wide plate or bowl with warm water. Dip one sheet of rice paper at a time into the water until it’s pliable but not too soft – over-soaking can cause it to tear.

Place the softened rice paper on a clean surface. Arrange the sliced cucumber, apple, bell pepper, and shredded crab stick in the center.

For an added layer of flavor, you can add a spoonful of peanut butter over the ingredients.

Fold the left and right sides of the rice paper inward over the filling. Then, fold the bottom edge up and over the filling.
