Main Ingredients- 1 block Firm Tofu (for pan-frying)
- 150g Ground Pork
- 1/2 Onion (finely minced)
- 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 20 stalks Scallions (chopped)
Seasonings & Coating- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- Ssamjang (for the meat filling)
- A little Frying powder or All-purpose flour (for coating tofu)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the Tofu: Take one block of firm tofu and pat it thoroughly dry with paper towels. Cut the tofu into 6 pieces, each about 1.5 cm thick. Lightly coat each piece of tofu on both sides with frying powder or all-purpose flour to create a thin crust.
Step 2
Fry the Tofu: Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Carefully place the flour-coated tofu pieces into the hot oil. Fry them until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides. Once cooked, remove the tofu and place it on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Step 3
Make the Meat Filling: In a separate pan, add the ground pork, finely minced onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry over medium heat until the pork is cooked through. Stir in 2 Tbsp of ssamjang and 1 Tbsp of sugar, mixing well until combined. Turn off the heat, then add the chopped scallions, toasted sesame seeds, and 1 Tbsp of sesame oil. Mix gently to combine the delicious meat filling.
