Main Ingredients- 2 slices of bread
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 0.5 Tbsp ground cinnamon

First, in a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and 0.5 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.

Using a spatula or spoon, mix the sugar and cinnamon powder thoroughly until well combined and no clumps remain. Ensuring an even distribution will enhance the subtle cinnamon aroma.

Generously sprinkle the mixed cinnamon sugar evenly over the surface of both slices of bread. Covering the entire bread surface will make it even more delicious.

Now, let’s melt the cinnamon sugar to create the brûléed toast. For those without a kitchen torch or oven, here’s the first method: Heat the back of a spoon or ladle by immersing it in hot water or briefly holding it over a flame. (Be cautious of burns!)

As a third option, I tried using the oven. Place the bread with cinnamon sugar on top into a cold oven (no preheating). Position it in the middle rack, using only the top heating element, and bake at 150°C (300°F) for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
