Main Ingredients for Radish Pancake- 300g radish (about 1/4 of a medium radish)
- 1/2 red chili pepper
- 100g pancake mix (about 1 cup)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 90ml water (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 300g of radish, the main ingredient. Wash the radish, peel it, and then shred it thinly and lengthwise. Shredding to a uniform thickness will ensure a consistent texture when cooked, making it even more delicious.
Step 2
Slice 1/2 red chili pepper diagonally to add color. Removing the stem and seeds will reduce spiciness and enhance the visual appeal of the pancake.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine 100g of pancake mix and 1 pinch of salt. Gradually add 90ml of water while mixing to create a smooth batter without lumps. The batter should be slightly thick, not too runny or too stiff. (Adjust water amount based on the radish’s moisture content.)

Add the shredded radish and sliced red chili pepper to the batter. Gently mix with a spoon or spatula until the ingredients are evenly coated with the batter. Be careful not to overmix, as excessive mixing can release too much moisture from the radish, making the batter watery.
Step 5
Heat 2 Tbsp of cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Ladle about a portion of the batter into the pan and spread it thinly. Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook until the edges are crispy. Your delicious radish pancake is ready!
