Crispy Outside, Tender Inside! Lemon Butter Salmon
Perfect for When You Have No Appetite! Super Simple Crispy Lemon Butter Salmon Recipe
Not feeling hungry lately, but still want to make an effort to eat healthy and nutritious food? I’ve got just the thing for you! After searching for a few salmon recipes, I decided to try making one my favorite way. I made this for lunch this week and it was so delicious, I feel like I have to eat it again for dinner tonight! It’s truly amazing. (Although I haven’t included it here, sautéing kale, garlic, and shiitake mushrooms and then placing the grilled salmon on top is also incredibly delicious!)
Main Ingredients- 2lb fresh Salmon fillet
- 1 Lemon
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 handful Green onion
- 1 Hot pepper
- 1 handful Kale
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 450°F (about 230°C). While the oven is preheating, thoroughly wash the kale, garlic, lemon, hot pepper, and green onion under running water. For the lemon, scrub its peel vigorously with coarse salt to remove any bitterness.
Step 2
Chop the washed vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Cutting them to a uniform size, similar to what you see in the image, will ensure they cook evenly.
Step 3
Gently rinse the salmon under cool running water. This step helps maintain the salmon’s freshness and removes any surface impurities.
Step 4
Line a baking sheet with cooking foil and drizzle or spray olive oil evenly over it. Olive oil will prevent the salmon from sticking and help it cook up moist and tender.
Step 5
Arrange the prepared salmon fillet nicely on top of the foil.
Step 6
Sprinkle the salmon evenly with salt, followed by freshly ground black pepper. Then, arrange the thinly sliced garlic and hot pepper on top for flavor and a touch of heat.
Step 7
Next, place the lemon slices and green onions evenly over the salmon. The citrusy brightness of the lemon and the aromatic zest of the green onions will enhance the salmon’s flavor beautifully.
Step 8
Cover the salmon and vegetables with another piece of cooking foil. Sealing it this way ensures the salmon cooks through with plenty of moisture, and all the flavors meld together wonderfully.
Step 9
Place the foil-wrapped salmon into the preheated 450°F (about 230°C) oven and bake for a total of 40 minutes. (Baking for around 30 minutes might also be sufficient, so adjust the time based on the thickness of your salmon and your oven’s performance.)
Step 10
Wow! What an amazing, mouth-watering sight! The salmon is perfectly grilled with a crispy exterior and a tender, flaky interior. Enjoy this absolutely delicious meal!
