Ingredients- 40g Dried Pollack Strips (Meoktae or Dongtae strips can also be used)
- 1 Tbsp Sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil (vegetable oil or grapeseed oil can be substituted)
- 0.5 Tbsp Curry Powder (for extra flavor!)
- 0.5 Tbsp Mayonnaise (for creaminess)
- 1 pinch Salt (for a touch of seasoning)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the dried pollack strips. If they are too long, use scissors to cut them into bite-sized pieces, about 3-5cm long, suitable for easy eating. Cutting them too small might cause them to burn during cooking, so aim for a moderate size.
Step 2
Place the cut pollack strips into a bowl. Add all the seasoning ingredients: 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 0.5 tablespoon of curry powder, 0.5 tablespoon of mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt. Gently mix everything together with your hands, ensuring the seasoning coats the pollack strips evenly.
Step 3
Arrange the seasoned pollack strips in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping them so they can become evenly crispy. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also lightly pan-fry them over low heat.
Step 4
Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook for approximately 3 minutes. The cooking time might vary slightly depending on the thickness of the pollack strips and your specific air fryer model. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. They are ready when they turn golden brown and crispy!
