Ingredients
  • 2 Dried Pollack (approx. 100g)
  • 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise (15g)
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (15g)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 2g Sesame Seeds

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

1. First, finely chop the gochugaru (Korean chili flakes). Aim for a slightly coarse chop so that the flakes are still noticeable in the sauce, providing a pleasant texture rather than dissolving completely.

Step 2

2. Prepare a small dipping bowl. Add the soy sauce, mayonnaise, chopped gochugaru, and sesame seeds in that order. Mix these ingredients together well to create the dipping sauce for your grilled pollack. The mayonnaise will help the sauce adhere to the pollack and add a creamy richness.

Step 3

3. The key to achieving perfect grilled pollack is to cook it over low heat rather than high heat. Place the dried pollack on a grill or in a pan over low heat. Grill gently, flipping occasionally, until the surface is golden brown and slightly crispy. Be sure to manage the heat carefully to prevent burning.

Step 4

Complete: Serve your deliciously grilled pollack with the prepared sauce. It’s best enjoyed while still warm!
