Ingredients- 1 handful prepared burdock root (approx. 50-70g)
- 40g canned tuna, drained
- 1 Tbsp pancake mix (buchim garu)
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the prepared burdock root, drained tuna, pancake mix, and the egg. Finely chop the burdock root into approximately 2-3 cm pieces; this size ensures it cooks evenly and is pleasant to eat. Mixing everything thoroughly will create a cohesive batter. This amount is sufficient for one pancake, about 20cm in diameter.
Step 2
Preheat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully pour the batter into the pan and spread it out evenly. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for about 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, until the edges begin to turn golden brown and you can see the center starting to set. Gently flip the pancake and cook the other side for the same amount of time until golden brown and cooked through.
