- 1 pack Enoki Mushrooms
Seasoning- 6 Tbsp Store-bought Pork Rib Sauce
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes (Gochugaru)
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- Sesame Seeds
- 6 Tbsp Store-bought Pork Rib Sauce
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes (Gochugaru)
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- Sesame Seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all your ingredients. Keep the frozen pork belly as is. Rinse the bean sprouts thoroughly under running water and drain them completely in a colander. Thinly slice the green onion lengthwise and then thinly slice it. For the enoki mushrooms, trim off the root end and separate the strands.
Step 2
The secret to flavor! Have your store-bought pork rib sauce ready. Using a pre-made sauce simplifies the seasoning process and delivers a rich, deep taste.
Step 3
Heat a large wok or pan over high heat. Add the frozen pork belly and begin to stir-fry. Once the pork belly starts to cook, add 3 tablespoons of the pork rib sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Stir-fry until the pork is evenly coated with the sauce.
Step 4
When the pork belly is almost fully cooked, add the prepared bean sprouts and green onion slices to the pan. Stir-fry quickly over high heat, mixing everything together. It’s important to stir-fry rapidly to keep the bean sprouts crisp.
Step 5
Now, drizzle the remaining 3 tablespoons of pork rib sauce evenly over the ingredients. Continue to stir-fry until the bean sprouts are cooked but still crisp. Taste the sauce and adjust for saltiness or sweetness according to your preference for an even better flavor.
Step 6
Finally, add the enoki mushrooms and sprinkle the red pepper flakes on top. Stir everything together quickly and continue to stir-fry for just 1-2 minutes until well combined. Cooking over high heat from start to finish is key to maintaining the crunchy texture!
Step 7
Just before turning off the heat, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds to finish. Your delicious and glossy stir-fried pork belly with bean sprouts is ready!
