  • A little garlic oil
  • 1 Tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • A little sesame oil
  • A little sesame seeds

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp plum extract (maesilcheong)
  • 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic

Cooking Instructions

Prepare all your ingredients. Sift the small dried anchovies to remove any dust or fragments. If you prefer, you can lightly toast them in a pan to enhance their flavor and reduce any fishy smell.

To complement the anchovies, chop the walnuts into small, bite-sized pieces or crush them with your hands. Aim for pieces that are easy to eat alongside the anchovies. Avoid crushing them too finely, as this can affect the texture.

Let the sauce bubble and simmer, then combine it with the anchovies and walnuts, stirring well to coat everything.
