  • 1 small piece of carrot (about 30g)

Special Soy Sauce Dressing

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp plum extract (or honey/sugar)
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Blanch the sliced fish cakes for about 15-30 seconds. This step helps to remove any excess oil and impurities from the fish cakes. Immediately drain the blanched fish cakes in a colander and pat them dry.
