With just one bottle of store-bought all-purpose seasoning sauce, you can whip up a delicious cucumber and chive salad in no time! It’s perfect for a quick and flavorful side dish.
Main Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers
- 50g chives
Seasoning
- 3 Tbsp store-bought all-purpose bibim & muchim sauce
- 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili powder)
- 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 3 Tbsp store-bought all-purpose bibim & muchim sauce

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under running water.
Step 2
Using a peeler or julienne peeler, thinly peel the ends of the cucumbers and trim off the stem ends.
Step 3
Slice the cucumbers diagonally into bite-sized pieces, about 0.5 cm thick. This shape helps the seasoning coat evenly and taste better.
Step 4
Place the sliced cucumbers into a mixing bowl immediately.
Step 5
Wash the chives, drain them well, and cut them into 3 cm lengths.
Step 6
Add the prepared chives to the bowl with the cucumbers.
Step 7
Now it’s time for the seasoning. Add 3 tablespoons of store-bought all-purpose bibim & muchim sauce, 1 tablespoon of gochugaru, and 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds to the bowl.

Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Be gentle to preserve the crispness of the cucumbers. Tip: If you’d like to adjust the seasoning, feel free to add a pinch of salt or a little minced garlic to your preference.
