Ingredients- Haots Hot Pot White Soup Base 60g
- 1 packet of instant ramen
- 1 packet of ramen garnish soup
- 550g (550ml) water
- 1/2 chicken breast
- 50g bean sprouts
- 10g green onion (about 1/4 stalk)
- 5g minced garlic (about 1 tsp)
- 3 dried chili peppers (optional, for added spiciness)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a deep pot, pour exactly 550g (550ml) of water and add 60g of Haots Hot Pot White Soup Base. The secret to this milky, rich broth lies in the perfect ratio of soup base to water! Bring to a rolling boil over high heat. This step is crucial for developing the deep flavor of the ramen broth, so it’s important to adhere to the specified amount of water.
Step 2
Once the broth is boiling vigorously, add the ramen noodles and the garnish soup packet first. (You can adjust or omit the spicy soup packet according to your preference; it’s recommended not to add it to preserve the delicate white broth flavor.)
Step 3
For that authentic street-style ramen taste, add 50g of fresh bean sprouts! Bean sprouts not only make the broth refreshingly clear but also provide a delightful crunchy texture when eaten with the noodles. After adding the bean sprouts, stir in 10g of thinly sliced green onion and 5g of minced garlic, mixing well as it simmers. The minced garlic adds a wonderful aroma and depth to the soup.
Step 4
Finally, add 1/2 chicken breast that has been pre-boiled and shredded. The chicken breast adds tender protein, making the ramen more filling. To ensure the noodles stay chewy and don’t get soggy, repeatedly lift and lower the noodles with chopsticks while stirring gently to allow the broth to evenly coat them. If you like a touch of heat, add the 3 dried chili peppers at this stage for a subtly spicy kick.
Step 5
Carefully ladle the deliciously cooked ramen into a deep bowl. Garnish with freshly chopped scallions for a beautiful presentation. Your creamy white ramen, perfect for enjoying at home with its rich, savory broth, chewy noodles, and generous toppings, is now complete! Savor this perfectly balanced and satisfying meal.
