Super Easy Rice Cooker Soy Powder Cream Soup
A wonderfully simple and hearty soup perfect for a quick breakfast or a light meal. This creamy soy powder soup is both nutritious and satisfying.
Ingredients- 100ml Heavy Cream
- 100ml Milk
- 3 Tbsp Fine Soy Bean Powder (or Misugaru)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Pinch of Parsley Flakes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the ingredients for the soup in your rice cooker inner pot. For a smooth consistency, use 3 tablespoons of fine soy bean powder or Misugaru. (Be cautious with coarse powders as they may clump.)
Step 2
In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy bean powder (or Misugaru), 100ml of heavy cream, 100ml of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Whisk thoroughly with a whisk or spoon until no lumps remain and the mixture is smooth. Add the parsley flakes at this stage as well. Ensure the mixture is creamy and well-combined.
Step 3
Pour the well-mixed soup base into the rice cooker inner pot. Reheat using the ‘Cook’ or ‘Warm’ function of your rice cooker for approximately 9 minutes. Adjust the time depending on your rice cooker’s settings. Be mindful to prevent it from boiling over, and stirring occasionally will help achieve a better consistency.
Step 4
Carefully transfer the warmed soup into a serving bowl. For an extra touch, sprinkle a pinch of parsley flakes on top. Enjoy your delicious, freshly made warm soup!
