Creamy and Savory 10-Minute Tofu Mayonnaise

Today, we’re making a delightful tofu mayonnaise that’s low in calories and richness, but high in savory flavor and wholesome goodness! 🙂 It’s a healthier twist perfect for any dish.
Ingredients- Tofu 200g (firm or silken tofu works)
- Lemon juice 4 Tbsp (freshly squeezed is best for flavor)
- Olive oil 5 Tbsp (extra virgin olive oil recommended)
- Salt 1/2 tsp (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the tofu into 4 equal pieces. Blanch them in boiling water for about 2 minutes. This helps to remove excess water from the tofu, resulting in a smoother and more delicious mayonnaise.
Step 2
In a blender or food processor, combine the blanched tofu, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Blend until smooth. The lemon juice adds a pleasant tanginess characteristic of mayonnaise.
Step 3
While the mixture is still cool, gradually add the 5 tablespoons of olive oil in 2 to 3 additions, blending continuously until the mixture is smooth and emulsified. Adding the oil slowly is key to achieving a creamy texture. Once everything is well combined and has a creamy consistency, your delicious tofu mayonnaise is ready!
