Main Ingredients- Soaked Rice: 1 paper cup (approx. 150g)
- Pine Nuts: 1/2 paper cup (approx. 40g)
- Water: 3 paper cups (approx. 600ml)
- Salt: A pinch (to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it for at least 30 minutes until well-softened. Using soaked rice will result in a smoother and more easily digestible porridge.
Step 2
In a blender (or smoothie chopper), combine the soaked rice, rinsed pine nuts, and 1 paper cup of water. Blend until smooth and creamy. It’s important to blend until there are no lumps of rice or pine nuts.
Step 3
Pour the blended mixture and the remaining 2 paper cups of water into a pot. Set the heat to medium-low. Stir continuously with a spatula or spoon to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot as it simmers.
Step 4
Once the porridge begins to boil, reduce the heat to low. Continue to stir gently and cook until it reaches your desired thick and smooth consistency. Remove from heat when done.
Step 5
