  • 3 servings of corn kernels (thawed frozen or fresh canned corn)
  • 1/2 onion
  • Plenty of mozzarella cheese (adjust to your preference)

  • 1 Tbsp sugar

I used corn that was pre-boiled, the kernels removed, and then frozen. Thaw 3 servings of these corn kernels. If using canned corn, make sure to drain it thoroughly. Pat the thawed corn kernels dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Dice the 1/2 onion into small pieces, similar in size to the corn kernels (about 0.5 cm or smaller). If you prefer a milder onion flavor, you can soak the diced onion in cold water for a few minutes, then drain and pat dry before use.

In a bowl, combine the thawed corn kernels, finely diced onion, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and optionally, 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
