Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the main dish: 2 semi-dried squids. If they are still frozen, let them thaw at room temperature for a while.
Step 2
Rinse the squids thoroughly under running water. Peel off the skin cleanly and then cut them into bite-sized pieces, about 2cm wide. (Tip! If you grill the squid with the skin on, it tends to stick to the pan, making it difficult to wash and even harder to cook. Removing the skin makes the process much easier. If the skin is stubborn, cover the squid with a paper towel and gently rub it to peel it off effortlessly.)
Step 3
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. It’s best to maintain a medium-low heat to prevent the butter from burning.
Step 4
Start by adding the squid tentacles to the pan and grilling them first. The tentacles may take a little longer to cook through.
Step 5
After stir-frying the squid tentacles for about 1 minute until slightly golden, add the squid bodies to the pan as well. Continue to stir-fry them together.
Step 6
Keep stir-frying and flipping the squid until it turns a delicious golden brown color. Be careful not to overcook it, as this can make the squid tough.
Step 7
Now, let’s make the refreshing cherry smoothie. Pour enough milk into a blender cup to cover the frozen cherries, and add 2 tablespoons of honey for sweetness.
Step 8
Blend everything thoroughly using an immersion blender or a standard blender until smooth and creamy. Blend until you achieve a silky texture.
Step 9
Next, let’s make the sweet banana smoothie. Pour milk into a blender cup with the frozen banana until it’s covered.
Step 10
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey and blend again using your blender until all ingredients are smoothly combined. You’ll have a delicious banana smoothie with a rich flavor.
Step 11
Pour the prepared cherry and banana smoothies into separate serving cups. They look as refreshing and delicious as they taste!
Step 12
For the freshly grilled semi-dried squid butter-grill, dipping it in mayonnaise enhances the flavor even further. The savory butter, salty squid, and creamy mayonnaise create a fantastic combination. Enjoy your delicious snack and refreshing smoothies for a wonderful time!
