Main Ingredients- Octopus (cooked or raw)
- 1 Bell Pepper (any color you like)
- 1/2 Onion
For Stir-frying- Olive Oil, as needed
- Olive Oil, as needed
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s make our special sauce for this delicious stir-fry. In a bowl, combine 3 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp water, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide, and 1 Tbsp plum extract. Mix well until everything is combined. Feel free to adjust the amount of oligosaccharide if you prefer a different level of sweetness.
Step 2
Now, it’s time to stir-fry! Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Then, add the sliced onion and the prepared octopus. Increase the heat to high and stir-fry quickly until the octopus is lightly cooked on the outside. Avoid overcooking the octopus, as it can become tough.
Step 3
Once the octopus and onion are partially cooked, add the colorful bell peppers, cut into bite-sized pieces, and stir-fry them together. It’s best not to overcook the vegetables, so they retain their crispness. Now, pour the prepared special sauce into the pan.
Step 4
Finally, stir-fry everything over high heat until all the ingredients are well coated with the sauce and nicely combined. Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and glistens. A final sprinkle of black pepper will add a wonderful aroma and enhance the flavor. Enjoy your perfectly cooked stir-fry!
