Main Ingredients- 300g Handmade fish cake
- 1 stalk Green onion
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the 300g of handmade fish cake into bite-sized pieces. Cutting them not too thick will help them absorb the seasoning better.
Step 2
Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Prepare one stalk of green onion, slice the white part diagonally, and add it to the pan. Sauté over medium-low heat until a fragrant aroma arises, creating infused green onion oil. This step enhances the overall flavor of the fish cake stir-fry.
Step 3
Once the fragrant green onion oil has infused, add the prepared fish cakes. Stir-fry over medium heat until the surface becomes slightly golden and develops a chewy texture. Be careful not to overcook, as it can make the fish cakes tough.
Step 4
When the fish cakes are sufficiently stir-fried, pour in 1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice wine, 0.5 tablespoon of plum syrup, and 0.5 tablespoon of oligosaccharide. Stir-fry thoroughly to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed among the fish cakes. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent the sauce from burning.
Step 5
Finally, add the green part of the remaining green onion, sliced diagonally, and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds. Stir-fry briefly once more to combine all ingredients well. Your delicious handmade fish cake stir-fry is ready! It’s wonderful served warm, or you can let it cool slightly to enjoy as a make-ahead side dish.
