Today, I’ll guide you through the easy steps to create this delicious Bubamza Tteokbokki using this convenient meal kit.
Main Ingredients- Bubamza Tteokbokki Meal Kit (includes spicy-sweet sauce, dried vegetable mix, and bubamza)
- 2 sheets of fish cakes (eomuk)
- 1 stalk of green onion (scallion)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, open the meal kit packaging and check the contents. You’ll find a spicy-sweet tteokbokki sauce, a dried vegetable mix, and the chewy bubamza, each individually packaged.
Step 2
Prepare the fish cakes and green onion to add flavor to your tteokbokki. Cut the rectangular fish cakes into triangle shapes, and slice the green onion diagonally.
Step 3
Bubamza tends to stick together during cooking, so it’s best to separate it before you start. Gently untangle the bubamza pieces after removing them from the packaging.
Step 4
Place all the separated bubamza into a frying pan. Next, pour in the spicy-sweet tteokbokki sauce included in the meal kit.
Step 5
Now it’s time to add water and the dried vegetable mix. Pour in about 2 paper cups of water and add the dried vegetable mix as well.
Step 6
Place the frying pan with all the ingredients over high heat. Once the water begins to boil vigorously, add the pre-cut fish cakes.
Step 7
Once the fish cakes have cooked a bit, add the sliced green onion. Continue to cook over high heat for about 5 minutes. The ingredients will meld together, releasing a delicious tteokbokki aroma.
Step 8
After boiling for 5 minutes, if you prefer a richer flavor, reduce the heat to low and simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes, according to your preference. Your delicious Bubamza Tteokbokki, with its chewy bubamza and savory-sweet sauce, is now complete! Enjoy your meal.
