Main Ingredients- 4 King Oyster Mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 Green Onion (cut into thick pieces)
Sauce- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 0.7 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Rice Syrup or Corn Syrup
- 200ml Water
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 0.7 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Rice Syrup or Corn Syrup
- 200ml Water
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the king oyster mushrooms thoroughly and slice them thinly, about 0.5cm thick. (They are sliced thinly here for elders or children, but feel free to slice them slightly thicker for a chewier texture according to your preference.)
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, oyster sauce, gochujang, minced garlic, sugar, ketchup, and rice syrup (or corn syrup). Mix well to create the sauce.

Pour the prepared sauce into a heated pan, and add 200ml of water.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and wait until it starts simmering.

Once the sauce is boiling, add the sliced king oyster mushrooms. Stir gently with a spatula or spoon, coating the mushrooms evenly with the sauce. Reduce the heat to medium-low as the mushrooms may release water.
