A protein-rich dish perfect for my husband, who’s on a diet, and my growing son! I made this delicious meal for them over the weekend. It’s a flavorful way to ensure everyone gets the nutrients they need while enjoying a fantastic meal.
Main Ingredients- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 pack Korean green peppers (approx. 200g)
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp herb salt
- 1 Tbsp salt

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the 4 boneless chicken thighs. Rinse them under cold water and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels. Season evenly with 1 Tbsp salt, a pinch of black pepper, and 1 Tbsp herb salt. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes for better flavor.
Step 2
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down (if you have skin on, otherwise, start with one side). Sear until the skin is golden brown and crispy. The chicken’s natural oils will render, creating a delicious fried texture.
Step 3
Once the skin is nicely crisped, flip the chicken thighs over. Sear the other side until it’s also golden brown and cooked through. This searing locks in the juices, ensuring the chicken stays tender and moist.
Step 4
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Transfer them to a pot or a deep pan. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat, allowing it to braise gently. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked through. You can check for doneness by piercing with a fork; if the juices run clear, it’s ready.
Step 5
Once the chicken is fully cooked, add the washed Korean green peppers to the pot. Stir-fry together for just 3-4 minutes, until the peppers are slightly tender but still have a slight crunch. Be careful not to overcook the peppers, as they can become mushy. Your delicious braised chicken with green peppers is ready!
