- 300g thinly sliced beef for shabu-shabu
- 300g bok choy
- 1/2 onion
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/3 stalk green onion
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil
Seasoning Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp sugar
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all your ingredients. Thinly slice the onion. Chop the green onion into large diagonal pieces. Thinly slice the garlic. Wash the bok choy thoroughly. If serving to children, it’s helpful to cut the bok choy leaves in half to make them bite-sized and easier to eat. This also helps the flavors penetrate better.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add the sliced garlic and chopped green onion. Stir-fry until fragrant to infuse the oil with their flavors.

Once the garlic and green onion turn slightly golden, gently pat the thinly sliced beef (300g) with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Add the beef to the pan.
