Main Ingredients
  • 50g Beef Jerky
  • 130g Gochujang (Korean chili paste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, finely grind the beef jerky using a blender until it becomes a powder. If you tear the jerky into smaller pieces before blending, it will be easier to grind. This step adds a deep, savory umami flavor to the gochujang.

Step 2

Prepare your gochujang. Place 130g of gochujang into a wide bowl. Using fresh gochujang will result in a better taste.

Step 3

In the bowl with the gochujang, add 10ml of mirin (cooking wine), 25ml of plum extract, and 25g of honey. Mix these ingredients well. This is a crucial step for balancing the sweetness and savory notes, so feel free to adjust the quantities to your personal preference.
