  • 1 king oyster mushroom

Ssamjang Mayo Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp ssamjang (Korean fermented soybean paste)
  • 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Tbsp corn syrup or oligodang
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil

Heat about 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned beef and sliced king oyster mushroom. Stir-fry, being careful not to burn the ingredients, until the beef is nicely browned and the mushrooms are tender and slightly chewy. Set the cooked ingredients aside.

Now, let’s make the delicious ssamjang mayo sauce. In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp ssamjang, 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise, and 1/2 Tbsp corn syrup (or oligodang). Mix well until smooth.
