Ingredients- T-Asia Powder Curry 1 pack (4 servings)
- Frozen Shrimp 200g
- 1 Potato (medium size)
- 1 Onion (medium size)
- 7cm piece of Carrot
- 1/2 Zucchini (10cm length)
- About 10 clusters of Oyster Mushrooms
- 600ml Milk
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Thaw the frozen shrimp by soaking them in water. (Feel free to substitute with other meats like chicken or pork, depending on your preference or what you have on hand.) Wash and dice the vegetables (potatoes, onions, carrots, zucchini) into approximately 1.5cm cubes. Prepare the oyster mushrooms by removing the tough ends and separating them into clusters.
Step 2
Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pot or pan over medium heat. Add all the prepared vegetables except the zucchini (potatoes, onions, carrots, oyster mushrooms) and sauté them. Zucchini softens quickly, so it will be added later.
Step 3
After stir-frying the vegetables for about 2 minutes to release their aroma, pour in 600ml of milk. Add the zucchini as well, cover the pot, and simmer until all the ingredients are tender and cooked through. (For a richer flavor, you can mix in a little water, or use only milk instead of water.)
Step 4
Once the ingredients are nearly cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add the entire packet of T-Asia powder curry and stir well to ensure it dissolves without clumps. (If you’re concerned about lumps, you can pre-mix the curry powder with a small amount of milk or water before adding it to the pot for a smoother consistency.) Adjust the thickness by adding more milk or water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
Step 5
Now, add the thawed shrimp to the curry pot.
Step 6
Once the curry comes to a gentle boil after adding the shrimp, turn off the heat immediately. Overcooking shrimp will make them tough and less flavorful, losing their delightful texture.
Step 7
Serve the delicious, ready-to-eat shrimp curry generously over a bowl of warm rice. This delightful meal is sure to bring back your appetite and provide a satisfying dining experience!
