Aromatic Beef Stir-fry with Ghee Butter (Keto Diet Friendly!)
Healthy and Delicious Diet Beef Recipe: Flavorful Ghee Butter Fried Beef, Perfect for a Ketogenic Diet
Ghee butter is a culinary gem that elevates the flavor of any dish! Unlike regular butter, its high smoke point means it won’t burn at high temperatures, making it a fantastic cooking oil, not just a finishing touch for steak. For those following the increasingly popular ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) diet, this ‘Beef Ghee Butter Stir-fry’ recipe is a must-try. Experience the delightful combination of ghee butter’s rich, nutty aroma and tender beef!
Ingredients- 200g Beef Sirloin
- 1 Tbsp Ghee Butter
- 100g Oyster Mushrooms
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 10 Korean Green Chili Peppers (Ggachori)
- Herbal Salt to taste
- Wasabi to serve
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s start by preparing the vegetables. Wash the 10 Korean green chili peppers, remove their stems, and slice them diagonally in half. Separate the 100g of oyster mushrooms into bite-sized pieces. Peel and halve the 5 cloves of garlic.
Step 2
Melt 1 tablespoon of ghee butter in a preheated pan over medium heat. Once the ghee butter releases its nutty aroma, you’re ready for the next step.
Step 3
Carefully place the 200g of beef sirloin into the pan. Searing the beef on a sufficiently hot pan helps to minimize moisture loss and ensures a tender result.
Step 4
While the beef is searing, add the prepared halved garlic cloves to the pan. As the garlic fries in the butter, it will infuse the beef with a wonderful aromatic flavor.
Step 5
Once one side of the beef is nicely browned, use a spatula or tongs to flip it over and cook the other side evenly. A good sear on the exterior locks in the juices, keeping the beef tender and moist.
Step 6
As the beef starts to cook through, add the prepared oyster mushrooms to the pan. The mushrooms will absorb the flavors from the beef and ghee butter, adding a delightful texture to the dish.
Step 7
Once the beef reaches your desired level of doneness, use kitchen scissors to cut it into bite-sized pieces. This makes it easier to eat and allows seasonings to distribute more evenly.
Step 8
Finally, add the sliced Korean green chili peppers to the pan. Stir-fry them briefly to add a touch of crunch and mild heat, but be careful not to overcook them, as they can become mushy.
Step 9
When all the ingredients are cooked to your liking, sprinkle herbal salt evenly over the pan to season. Give everything a final gentle stir to combine, then artfully arrange the cooked beef and vegetables on a serving plate.
Step 10
This beef stir-fry is absolutely delicious when dipped in a little wasabi! For an extra touch of elegance, pipe a thin line of wasabi onto the plate. Enjoy this restaurant-quality meal, savoring the rich flavors of ghee butter and fresh ingredients!
