  • Peeled Garlic 50g (approx. 10-15 cloves)

  • Buldak Bokkeum Myeon Liquid Soup Base 1 pack
  • Minced Garlic 1/2 Tbsp
  • Sesame Oil or Perilla Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Cooking Oil, for pan coating (approx. 1-2 drizzles)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Begin by thoroughly washing and preparing all your vegetables. Peel the onion and garlic cloves. Gently rinse the bean sprouts and cabbage under running water, then drain them well.

Step 1

Step 2

Chop the washed vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Slice the onion into strips or dice it, and thinly slice or mince the garlic. Leave the bean sprouts whole, and cut the cabbage into manageable pieces. Similarly, cut the prepared pork rind into suitable sizes.

Step 2

Step 3

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add about 1-2 drizzles of cooking oil. Add the cocktail shrimp, prepared pork rind, and 1/2 Tbsp of minced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant and the shrimp and pork rind begin to cook.

Step 3

Step 4

Once the pork rind is partially cooked and the shrimp turns pink, add the peeled onion, sliced garlic (if not minced earlier), cabbage, and bean sprouts to the pan. Stir-fry everything together until the vegetables are slightly softened.

Step 4

Step 5

Cook the Buldak Bokkeum Myeon noodles according to the package instructions in boiling water. Once the noodles are perfectly cooked, drain them and immediately add them to the frying pan with the other ingredients.

Step 5

Step 6

Pour the entire packet of Buldak Bokkeum Myeon liquid soup base into the pan. Toss everything together well with the noodles, vegetables, and seafood, stirring to coat evenly. Finally, drizzle in 1 Tbsp of sesame oil or perilla oil and stir-fry for about 1 more minute to enhance the aroma and flavor. You can add chopped Cheongyang peppers for an extra kick of spice.

Step 6

Step 7

Transfer the prepared Mala Xiang Guo-style Buldak Bokkeum Myeon to a serving bowl, arranging it attractively. Sprinkle a generous amount of seaweed flakes over the top for an extra layer of flavor and visual appeal.
