First, prepare an empty plastic water bottle to use for separating the egg yolks. Make sure it’s thoroughly emptied of water.

Crack the eggs into a wide bowl or plate, allowing the yolks and whites to mingle slightly. Using a wide container makes it easier to handle multiple eggs at once.

Gently squeeze the sides of the water bottle to release some air. Then, carefully position the bottle’s opening directly over an egg yolk. As you release the pressure on the bottle, the yolk will be cleanly sucked up into the bottle!

Pro Tip: Using a wide, shallow bowl for cracking your eggs helps prevent the yolks from breaking and the whites from spreading too much, making it much easier to isolate and suck up the yolks cleanly. You can prepare several eggs this way.
