  • 200g Popcorn Chicken (approx. 30 pieces)
  • 3 bowls of warm rice
  • 1 small onion (approx. 100g)
  • 3 fresh eggs
  • A pinch of shredded seaweed (gim-garu or gim-jaban)
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 2 Tbsp tonkatsu sauce

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare 200g of popcorn chicken (about 30 pieces). Place them in a single layer in an air fryer preheated to 180°C (350°F) and cook for about 5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

Peel and thinly slice the small onion (approx. 100g). In a bowl, combine the sliced onion with 2 Tbsp of teriyaki sauce and 2 Tbsp of tonkatsu sauce. Mix well and let it marinate. This step enhances the onion’s sweetness and the sauce’s flavor.

Heat about 1 Tbsp of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Crack the 3 fresh eggs into the pan and scramble them with chopsticks until fluffy and cooked through. Aim for a moist texture rather than dry.
