  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 4 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin, etc.)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (or xylitol powder)
  • 2 Tbsp corn syrup (oligo syrup)
  • 2 Tbsp water

If using an air fryer: Place the frozen chicken or chicken nuggets directly into the air fryer basket without thawing. Cook at 185℃ (365℉) for about 10 minutes until heated through and crispy. (For pan-frying: Thaw the chicken nuggets in the microwave, then heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry until golden brown on both sides.)

While the chicken is cooking, let’s prepare the delicious soy garlic sauce. In a small bowl, combine 3 Tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce, 3 Tbsp minced garlic, 4 Tbsp cooking wine, 2 Tbsp corn syrup, 1 Tbsp sugar, and 2 Tbsp water. Whisk everything together until well combined. Generous minced garlic is key for great flavor!
