First, wash the zucchini thoroughly. Then, slice it into half-moon shapes about 0.5 cm thick. Slicing them to a moderate thickness is important; if they are too thin, they might break apart while stir-frying.

Thinly slice the red chili pepper diagonally after removing the seeds. Chop the green onion finely, using both the white and green parts. These vegetables will add color and aroma.
