Melon & Bacon Skewer Salad Ingredients- 1 head Endive
- 5 strips Bacon
- 1 ball Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
- 8 Cherry Tomatoes
- 1/4 Melon
- A little Olive Oil
- A little Black Pepper
- A little Balsamic Glaze
- A little Basil Pesto
Real Melon Juice Ingredients- 1/2 Melon
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 2 paper cups Ice
- 1/2 Melon
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 2 paper cups Ice
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the bacon for the salad. Cut the bacon into approximately 1cm thick pieces.
Step 2
Cut the melon and fresh mozzarella cheese into bite-sized pieces. The sweetness of the melon and the creaminess of the cheese will complement each other beautifully.
Step 3
Thread the cut mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and melon onto skewers, alternating the ingredients. These skewers will be visually appealing and easy to eat.
Step 4
Heat a pan with a little olive oil. Add the sliced bacon and cook until it becomes golden brown and crispy. Once cooked, place the bacon on paper towels to drain off excess grease.
Step 5
Arrange the melon skewers attractively on top of the clean endive leaves. Add the crispy bacon, drizzle with balsamic glaze for added depth of flavor, and finish with a dollop of fragrant basil pesto to complete the salad. This salad offers a wonderful balance of freshness, savory notes, and sweetness.
Step 6
Now, let’s make the refreshing and sweet melon juice. In a blender, combine the melon (peeled and seeded), lemon juice, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth. You’ll have a pure melon juice bursting with the natural, rich flavor of melon, balanced by a hint of tartness and sweetness.
