Quick & Easy 5-Minute Ramen Rice Bowl
No Time? Make Ramen Rice with Instant Rice! Got It?
Today, I tried making something called ‘Ramen Rice’. The recipe usually calls for soaked rice, but I found a much faster and easier way using instant rice! This is the perfect solution for those busy days when you don’t have time to cook rice but crave a satisfying meal. By dissolving instant rice in water and cooking it with ramen, you get a delightful blend of textures and flavors. Give it a try – it’s a game-changer for quick meals!
Ingredients- 1 packet of instant ramen (choose your favorite flavor)
- 1 pack of instant cooked rice
- 1 egg
- A small amount of green onion, chopped
- 400ml water (approx. 2 cups)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, grab a wide frying pan or pot. Pour in 400ml of water and add the entire pack of instant cooked rice. Use a spoon or spatula to break down the rice clumps and dissolve the rice into the water. This will help thicken the broth and allow the rice grains to absorb the delicious ramen flavor.
Step 2
Once the rice is dissolved, it’s time to prepare the ramen. Add the soup base and dried vegetable flakes from your ramen packet to the water. Once the water comes to a boil, carefully place the ramen noodles into the pot. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat for about 3 minutes.
Step 3
After 3 minutes, carefully remove the lid. If the noodles are not yet fully cooked, gently loosen them with chopsticks or a spoon. Stirring the noodles helps them cook evenly and allows the broth to seep into the strands, enhancing the overall flavor.
Step 4
When the noodles are mostly cooked, reduce the heat to low. Crack an egg directly into the center of the pot and sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top. Replace the lid and continue to simmer for another 3 minutes. Your delicious ramen rice bowl is now ready! Enjoy it hot for the best taste.
