  • 1 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil (for a nutty aroma)
  • 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds (for texture and nutty flavor)

Cooking Instructions

I’m using ‘Ilga Jip’ brand pickled radish today, which comes in a 250g package. If you’re using a different brand, please ensure you have the same weight.

Gently squeeze out some of the excess liquid from the pickled radish. Avoid squeezing too hard, as it can make the radish mushy. Then, cut the radish in half crosswise into bite-sized pieces. Thinner slices will absorb the seasoning better.

Transfer the prepared pickled radish to a bowl. Now it’s time to add the key flavor components. Add 1 tablespoon of gochugaru, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds.

Gently mix the seasoning with the pickled radish, ensuring everything is evenly coated. Be sure to mix softly so the seasoning doesn’t clump. Toss for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, and your delicious pickled radish salad will be ready.
