Tofu Braising Sauce

  • 4 Tbsp Water (60ml)
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce (45ml)
  • 3 Tbsp Corn Syrup or Oligosaccharide (45ml)
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Green Onion (15g)
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic (15g)

1. Cut Tofu into Bite-Sized Pieces: Lightly pat the tofu dry with paper towels. Then, cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 2.5cm x 2.5cm. This size is perfect for little ones to eat easily.

2. Pan-Fry Tofu Until Golden Brown: Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the cut tofu pieces in the hot pan. Once one side is golden brown, carefully flip them over and brown the other sides evenly. Be gentle to prevent the tofu from breaking.

3. Prepare the Flavorful Sauce: In a bowl, combine the water, soy sauce, corn syrup (or oligosaccharide), minced green onion, and minced garlic. Mix well to create a delicious sauce.
