- Ketchup (a little)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently press down the center of each morning bun or dinner roll with your fingers to create a slight hollow. This will form a well to hold the egg mixture.
Step 2
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise inside the hollowed-out part of the bun. The mayonnaise will help balance the richness and complement the egg, adding extra flavor.
Step 3
Crack 3 to 4 eggs into a bowl and whisk them thoroughly, removing the chalazae (the white, stringy bits). Carefully pour the whisked egg mixture into the hollow of each bun, ensuring not to overfill it so it stays within the bread’s boundaries.
Step 4
Tip: Instead of putting a whole egg into each bun, whisking them like this helps distribute the yolk and white evenly, making it more palatable for children. It’s also a great way to manage the amount of egg if one whole egg seems too much for a single bun.
Step 5
Place the buns filled with egg mixture into the microwave and cook for about 1 to 1 minute 30 seconds. This partial cooking will help set the egg slightly, preventing it from spilling out during the air frying process and ensuring it cooks more evenly.
Step 6
On top of the partially cooked egg, arrange small pieces of chopped bacon. The savory, crispy bacon will enhance the overall flavor profile of the egg bread.
Step 7
Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the bacon. Then, drizzle ketchup in a zigzag pattern for a touch of sweetness and acidity. Finally, garnish with dried parsley flakes for a beautiful color and added aroma, completing your morning bun egg bread.
Step 8
Carefully place the prepared morning bun egg breads into an air fryer preheated to 180°C (350°F). Bake for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent the buns from burning, adjusting the time as needed.
