Low-Carb & High-Fat Chicken Patty Rice Burger
A Delicious Chicken Patty Rice Burger: Perfect for Low-Carb, High-Fat Diets and Healthy Chicken Breast Cooking
You can create a delicious low-carb, high-fat diet meal using chicken breast in a rice burger! This recipe offers a satisfying and nutritious option.
Main Ingredients- 1/2 bowl of cooked rice or cauliflower rice (approx. 100g)
- Furikake (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 frozen chicken breast patty
- 1/2 onion (small)
- 1 Tbsp steak sauce (low-carb version recommended)
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of processed cheese
- Parsley flakes (for garnish, optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, take the frozen chicken breast patty out of its packaging to begin thawing. Peel and thinly slice the onion. You can keep the sliced onions bundled together to prevent them from scattering while cooking.
Step 2
Heat a pan and place the frozen chicken patty to grill until golden brown on both sides. While the patty is cooking, use another pan to lightly oil and fry the egg, making it sunny-side up or over-easy according to your preference. A runny yolk adds a wonderfully creamy texture.
Step 3
In the same pan used for the chicken patty, add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent. Once the onions are tender, pour in 1 tablespoon of steak sauce and stir-fry together to infuse the onions with the sauce’s flavor and sweetness. Be careful not to burn them.
Step 4
Place 1/2 bowl of cooked rice (or cauliflower rice) into a bowl. Sprinkle generously with furikake and add 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil, mixing well to season the rice. Spoon half of the seasoned rice into a burger mold or a suitably sized round mold, pressing down firmly to shape it. Compacting the rice well is crucial to prevent it from falling apart.
Step 5
On top of the rice layer in the mold, arrange the sautéed onion mixture prepared in step 2. Then, place the grilled chicken patty, cut into bite-sized pieces, on top of the onions. You can also place the entire patty if it fits.
Step 6
Layer the sliced cheese over the chicken patty. Carefully place the fried egg on top of the cheese. Once all ingredients are stacked, gently remove the mold to reveal the rice burger and plate it attractively.
Step 7
Fill the mold with the remaining seasoned rice and shape it in the same manner. Place the second completed rice burger on the plate. For an appealing finish, lightly sprinkle with parsley flakes if desired.
