Homemade Bacon Tomato Spaghetti for Myself
Super Easy Bacon Tomato Spaghetti: My Own Home Cafe Recipe
Today, I prepared a special meal just for myself. Treat yourself to a delicious, flavorful bacon tomato spaghetti that’s simple yet incredibly satisfying. You can enjoy a restaurant-worthy dish right at home!
Ingredients- Spaghetti noodles, 1 serving (approx. 80-100g, about a 500-won coin size bunch)
- Store-bought tomato sauce, 150-200g
- Thick-cut bacon, 2-3 strips (approx. 50-70g)
- Cherry tomatoes, 5-7 (optional, adds sweetness and freshness)
- Dried parsley, a pinch (for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces (about 1cm wide) to enhance the dish’s flavor. Thicker cuts are also delicious if you prefer.
Step 2
Cherry tomatoes are optional. If you have them at home, cut them in half. The freshness and tang of the tomatoes will enrich the pasta’s taste.
Step 3
Place the cut bacon into a pan heated over medium heat and sauté until golden brown and slightly crispy. Don’t discard the rendered bacon fat, as it adds wonderful flavor.
Step 4
Pour about 150-200g of store-bought tomato sauce over the well-cooked bacon. (You can adjust the sauce quantity according to your preference.)
Step 5
Stir the sauce and bacon together and continue to cook over low heat for 1-2 minutes. This allows the sauce to meld with the bacon, creating a delicious sauce base.
Step 6
For one serving, measure out spaghetti noodles by grasping a bunch about the size of a 500-won coin (approximately 80-100g).
Step 7
Bring a generous pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and add the spaghetti noodles. Cook for about 9 minutes. (Adjust cooking time based on noodle type and your preference. 9 minutes is the golden time for a chewy texture!)
Step 8
Drain the cooked spaghetti thoroughly in a colander. Excess water can dilute the sauce.
Step 9
If you prefer an even chewier noodle, briefly rinse the pasta under cold water to cool it down. This will make the noodles firm and enhance their texture.
Step 10
Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the bacon and tomato sauce. Stir well for 1-2 minutes, ensuring the sauce coats the noodles evenly. It’s important to mix thoroughly so the pasta absorbs the sauce.
Step 11
Plate the well-cooked spaghetti attractively. You can twirl it using chopsticks or a fork to create a beautiful presentation.
Step 12
Finally, sprinkle a pinch of dried parsley for a lovely aroma and visual appeal. Your delightful homemade Bacon Tomato Spaghetti is complete! Enjoy your meal. ♡
