Essential Ingredients- 3 rice cooker cups of soaked rice
- 2 rice cooker cups of water
- 1 potato, finely diced
- 8 spoons of carrot, finely diced
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 1/2 can (100g) of Spam, finely diced
- 6 spoons of green onion, finely chopped
- 6 spoons of tomato ketchup
- 3 spoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 3 spoons of cooking oil
- 1 spoon of butter
- 1 spoon of minced garlic
- 2 eggs
- Tomato ketchup (for garnish, as needed)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, dice the potato, carrot, onion, and Spam into small, bite-sized pieces suitable for children. Gather all these chopped vegetables and ham together.
Step 2
Add the pre-soaked rice (3 rice cooker cups) and water (2 rice cooker cups) to the rice cooker. Soaking the rice beforehand helps achieve a softer texture.
Step 3
Now, place all the prepared diced ingredients into the rice cooker. Drizzle 6 spoons of tomato ketchup and 3 spoons of Worcestershire sauce over them to enhance the flavor.
Step 4
Add 1 spoon of butter and 1 spoon of minced garlic for an extra layer of aroma and taste. Once all ingredients are in, close the rice cooker lid and select the regular cooking mode to prepare the rice.
Step 5
Once the rice is cooked, use a rice paddle to gently mix all the ingredients within the rice cooker until well combined and evenly distributed. This forms the base for your delicious fried rice.
Step 6
Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter. Pour in the beaten eggs and spread them out thinly to form a large omelet. Once the egg is about half-cooked, carefully spoon the rice mixture from the rice cooker onto the center of the omelet. Gently fold the egg around the rice and cook on medium-low heat, shaping it as you go. Be careful not to burn the egg.
Step 7
Carefully slide the cooked omurice onto a serving plate. Finally, drizzle with tomato ketchup according to your preference for a beautiful presentation. Your delicious and impressive Rice Cooker Omurice is now complete! Enjoy your meal!
