Discover my personal recipe for a refreshing carrot apple juice I made this week. It’s easy to prepare, making it a perfect option for a quick breakfast or a healthy snack. The natural sweetness of carrots perfectly complements the crisp tartness of apples, creating a delightful flavor that everyone will love!
Ingredients- 1/2 medium carrot, fresh
- 1/2 medium apple, crisp
- 200ml water
- Honey to taste (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the carrot, then peel it and cut it into manageable pieces, about 2-3 cm in size. To soften the firm carrot, place it in a microwave-safe dish and cook for approximately 7 minutes. This step helps to ensure a smoother blend and a more pleasant texture for your juice.
Step 2
Wash the apple, remove the core and seeds, and chop it into pieces similar in size to the carrots, or slightly smaller. You can leave the peel on for extra fiber, but make sure to remove the core and seeds. If you prefer, you can also peel the apple.
Step 3
Add the microwaved carrot and the chopped apple to your blender. Pour in 200ml of water. Blend the ingredients until they are completely smooth and well combined. If you desire a sweeter taste, you can add honey at this stage to your preference and blend again. Your delicious carrot apple juice is ready to be enjoyed!
