You’ll need fresh kale (2 stalks), crisp romaine lettuce (a small bunch), juicy tomatoes (1/2 medium, or cherry tomatoes), a protein-rich hard-boiled egg, a pungent onion (1/2 small), and aromatic arugula (a handful). Make sure they are washed and ready.

Thoroughly wash all the prepared vegetables and then pat them dry. Tear the kale and romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces by hand. If using a large tomato, cut it into quarters or dice it.
