Savory Pan-Fried Tofu with Vegetables
Delicious and Healthy Tofu and Vegetable Patties
Enjoy these delightful pan-fried tofu patties, generously filled with fresh vegetables for a nutritious and flavorful meal. They’re perfect as a light main dish, a side, or even a healthy snack for kids!
Main Ingredients- 1 block Tofu (approx. 300g)
- 4 large Eggs
- 1/4 Green Bell Pepper (seeds removed)
- 2 Cherry Tomatoes
- Vegetable Oil, for frying
Seasoning- Salt, to taste (a pinch)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently press the tofu block between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Slice the tofu into uniform pieces, about 1 to 1.5 cm thick. Finely chop the green bell pepper after washing it and removing the seeds. Halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes.
Step 2
In a bowl, crack the 4 eggs and whisk them until smooth. Add the chopped green bell pepper to the beaten eggs. Season with a pinch of salt (adjust to your preference). Stir everything together until well combined.
Step 3
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a generous amount of vegetable oil. Once the pan is hot, reduce the heat to medium-low. Ladle a portion of the egg and pepper mixture into the pan, spreading it thinly to form a base. Once the egg mixture begins to set slightly, carefully place the tofu slices on top, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Step 4
When the bottom side of the egg mixture is golden brown, carefully flip each tofu piece using two spatulas. (Using one spatula to press down while flipping with the other can make this easier.) Cook the other side until it’s also golden brown, maintaining a medium-low heat. Be mindful of the heat to prevent burning.
Step 5
If you have any remaining egg batter, add the finely chopped green bell pepper and prepared cherry tomatoes to it. Mix thoroughly. This step adds color and a fresh vegetable flavor to your patties.
Step 6
Once the first batch of tofu patties is beautifully cooked and ready to be served, repeat the same process with the remaining tofu slices. Add more oil to the pan as needed, and continue pan-frying the tofu with the egg batter until golden brown on both sides. Keep going until all ingredients are used to create delicious tofu and vegetable patties!
